This game presents a humorous and inventive approach to addressing the ongoing challenge of invasive pests in New Zealand. Featuring Rosie, a character equipped with a unique, wire-powered, gumboot-throwing contraption called the Cowtapult, players are tasked with eliminating pests such as possums, stoats, rabbits, and numerous invasive plants and insects. The gameplay involves unlocking various gumboots, each endowed with distinct and powerful abilities—including the Big Boot, Bouncy Boots, Boomerang Horse-Shoes, and pungent Cowpats—as players progress through diverse environments: The Farm, The Bush, The Shed, The Playground, and Rosie's Office. The game combines humor with strategic elements, offering an engaging way to simulate pest control efforts across different settings. Overall, Gumboot Glory provides an entertaining platform for players to support New Zealand’s ecological preservation in a lighthearted manner.
